Taste of Algoma: Grand North Bison

In this episode of Taste of Algoma, Skye takes a trip out to Grand North Bison to talk to John Karhi about his operation and visit the herd. Grand North Bison is a family-owned farm that has specialized in raising bison to offer this delicious and healthy specialty meat to the local community for nearly 30 years. Locals can shop their products online through their website or at a handful of retailers in the Algoma region, including our member location the Country Way. Come along as we get to learn about the farm’s history, how the Karhi’s got into bison farming, and what sets their bison products apart from other meats on the market.
